SOLID hose by a good label at a decent price.
This is a solid piece by a reputable manufacturer. I got it to apply with a Coleman portable stove, and I might get one of those Buddy Heaters too if I move to the hills. I will have to check out whether it would work well with a gas lantern (hanging instead of perched on top of the small cylinder). You have two choices - nylon or steel coated tubes. I went with the steel so that no little furry things are tempted to chew it. It is heavy duty and should last longer than I do. Propane is a serious fuel for adult use - this is a suitable attachment hose and priced accordingly. I have not tested the security of the attachments which are in perfect shape, but it's a reputable manufacturer and it looks solid and dependable. Test your connections - unwanted flames and gas leaks are just plain stupid.

Stiff but works
Great product. Bought it for ice fishing to hook up to a 20# lp tank. It's super stiff but it gets the job done. Be careful it does splinter and the metal hurts
