A: The tablets do have a minimal amount of coating.  They are not like the old aspirins that had no coating and would stick in your throat.

Have been using them for a long time. I use the regular strength, my wife the extra-strength. These are the "original" (regular) strength, and I use them regularly. They work. We're satisfied with the Pepcid brand as there hasn't been any issues with the chemicals. Our doctor said they are OK to use.
