It seems to be very good quality. The ball-socket joint that allows the mirror to move around seems very solid--like it'll position well and hold. As you can see from the pics, the straps are criss-crossed with snap buckles--very good quality and seem like they'd hold up well. I wrapped them around the pillow to give an idea of how they sit. They would adjust to pretty much any size of headrest you'd need to put them on. The reflection is very clear, as you can see where I peeled back the protective film (you can see the wood grain of my ceiling fan). The backseat in my husband's car doesn't have headrests, so in his car, I had to get a little creative with the mounting, because this is definitely designed to work ONLY with said headrests. But with the headrest, it's a quick and easy install and a great view. It's nice if your rear-facing toddler gets bored, too- my daughter likes making faces in her new "mewwew," haha. And her baby sister likes watching that, too- so I get to keep an eye on my kiddos, and they're self-entertained. I'd call that a win-win.
