I bought What to Expect When You’re Expecting for my daughter as soon as she told me she was pregnant (especially since I had bought an older version for myself when I was pregnant with her years ago and it helped me), and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. This book has been the gold standard for expectant parents for years —it’s informative, comforting, and incredibly well-organized. Very helpful and informative

Great information to read about from conception to birth and baby. It gives such good tips, definitely read before pregnancy or during to get a good understanding of it all. It is easy to read and learn from. It helped me so much and I know it will help other mamas and dads! Good value for my money.

Wish I could give more than 5 star if I could. Bought this book for myself as first time mom. I'd say this book does help ease on my mind and learn a lot of information and some medical words that I may not know. And it also helped me to be bit prepare at every visit for my OB prenatal check up. It is very long but that is okay the book is trying to write in simple English language in way easy level for person who isn't big fan of reader/bookworm it is very straight forward and clearly as needed, plus author has a humor in there too lol's. Id say great for baby shower or gift to mom when she find out she is having baby On the last I will be warning at two last chapter of book They do give you head up to be prepare about the complex in issues like pregnancy loss/ managing complications Nobody want to read that part but Understandably to learn something new about it, myself as I was like brush off and thought I would handle it to try read whole book as I can (I did) but at last chapter I tear up a bit. (thats my problem but its okay)

This book is an excellent and incredibly helpful resource for anyone expecting. I had purchased a pregnancy book about twenty years ago, and I can confidently say this updated version includes so much more information. It really highlights how much has changed and improved over time. There is a lot of updated and additional information compared to what I remember, and it all feels relevant and useful for today. It gave me a better understanding and more confidence throughout the process. Overall, this is a must have guide that is packed with valuable, up to date information. Highly recommend for anyone expecting or supporting someone who is!

Amazing book. Some of the things are too USA oriented but still it gives you the overall picture. Based on the book I required some additional tests and shots to be done with my GP and Ob/GYn

Rápida y amigable lectura, me fue guiando en cada etapa del embarazo y aunque tuve que saltar algunos temas porque no tenían que ver con mi situación, la otra gran parte sí que me ayudó a aprender y documentarme de información actualizada, lo complementé con la app. Lo recomiendo mucho.
