Heat wave going on. Kids in my library reading hour enjoyed this book so much. Read it aloud twice. Nice story, low cost, very happy with purchase.

My daughter has gotten into Pete the Cat for her summer reading and she loves it! Easy to read, but still challenging.

Pete and his brother Bob went to the beach, and Pete didn’t want to go in the water. Bob got him to get on the surf board. The first time Pete went on the surfboard he was scared, but he tried again. When he tried again, he was able to ride the big wave! I think this story try’s to teach kids not to give up, and to always be with a parent or a bigger sibling.

I am 5 and give it 5 stars. I love to read Pete the Cat stories as they are so much fun to read.

Great read for my son he loved it! It was funny and great practice for him while he is improving his reading skills over the summer

Fun book for the kiddo. Loved the story of getting over your fears and going for it. Would recommend for 5 and up.
