These are a game changer for opening wine table side at the restaurant I work at. If I didn’t have this I would butcher trying to get that foil off lol some are easy peasy and some are so stuck on it makes it impossible not to shred it to bits. But these! Life changing

Wine foil cutter. Brand new. Wine cutter that came with beautiful Cuisinart electric wine opener actually broke in half. Fantastic reviews for this one. Very sturdy. Works great. At the crazy low price for four wine cutters, how can I possibly go wrong!

These are easy to use and work pretty well when they are new but their performance does tend to degrade over time. I guess that is why they are sold in a package of 4. These get a lot of use at my house. We drink wine regularly and have a lot of friends that do the same. Consequently, I wear one them out in a few months. They are not that expensive and they do work well for their useful life. We live in a disposable society and this is an example of that.

I was surprised that they worked so well when I tried them. They look flimsy. And it didn’t even look like they had a cutter, but sure enough, they work great. They don’t work as well on some European wine bottles that seem to have a slightly wider than normal neck. But even on those, they still work, you just have to try cutting it a couple of times to get through the lead foil in the right place.

These foil cutters sooner or later either lose a wheel or just plainly get lost. I'm on the last of my initial batch of four purchased a couple of years ago. I purchased four more to keep in reserve!. These foil cutters are the perfect solution to what is often not a simple task, cutting the foil to allow your corkscrew to remove a wine cork. Most look alikes, flexible plastic u shaped devices have a fixed blade on either side. And require crushing force and a bit of luck to cleanly remove the top of the foil. This device with four small rotating circular blades does the job effortlessly, leaving a clean cut across the foil that looks like it was produced in a factory. And as they are so frequently misplaced, getting four foil cutters in the package should be great (if I don't misplace the other three).

I now have a lifetime supply of foil cutters. These cut quickly and efficiently. My original cutter was very similar to these and lasted for many years. When it broke I was not able to find a similar style locally and bought one with fixed cutters instead of cutter wheels. That one was worthless and lasted only a short time. These have the cutter wheels and work easily and cleanly. Would not hesitate to buy again, except with four in a package, I probably will have enough for many more years.

A great value purchased during Prime Day.

These are great value for money and they work really well when they are new. The problem is that they break down quickly - last count was after 20-30 bottles opened. Why did I give them 4 stars? Well, for the price you are paying, even if they break after that many bottles, they are still more cost effective than other brands I've used.

These foil cutters were purchased on sale and worked out to be cheaper per unit than other options. They matched the product description and worked perfectly. Out of the 4 foil cutters, one lost a cutting wheel after about 100 uses. The others had no issues. I will purchase this package again. The multi pack would be perfect to separate and gift to anyone who regularly drinks wine or use as backups if one is lost or broken.

I love it when a tool does what it's supposed to do and does it well like this little cutter does.

Just like described

They just don't last. Metal fastener comes out, cutter falls off - onto the next one. That said they are inexpensive. In all honesty I'd pay more for just one if it was quality. I haven't yet found such an item.

Poorly made. All 4 have broke within a few weeks of purchasing. The foil cutters fall off.
