## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the viega manablock wrench fit these? and if not, what is available to tighten them?**
A: The Viega 50642 wrench I received did fit the 50133 fittings but it was a tight fit that was a little cumbersome getting on to the fitting.  The 50133 fittings are water tight when tightened with just your fingers but I wouldn't trust them to stay water tight without snugging them with the wrench or just a pair of adjustable water pump pliers.  I doubt the pliers are recommended by Viega.

**Q: will this fit the 3/4 male port on manabloc plumbing box?  i am looking for a 1/2 pex fitting to the 3/4 inch male port on a manabloc pumb box**
A: yes

**Q: will they work with expansion fittings as well ?**
A: I haven’t tried but the key is crimping to 1/2” PEX hose or lime.  You can order one maybe and try.

**Q: What's the difference between the "port adapter", and the "Locknut assembly" that uses a ferrule+inster+stiffener?**
A: Not sure but on all of them you have to crimp the connector to the pex clamp with the crimping tool
