A non-dairy creamer with simple ingredients and NO SUGAR. I have tried all the soy, almond, cashew creamers out there, and they all have odd flavourings and sugar added to them. None could compete with simple dairy half-and-half for a basic creamy addition to coffee. I have made my own at home, but homemade ones have a habit of separating, requiring stirring your coffee before every sip. Nutpods on the other hand is a stable nut based creamy milk that is the closest I have found to half-and-half. I did not find it thin and watery as some reviewers here have described. Nor does it taste like coconut. It is slightly richer on the tongue than half-and-half, which surprised me. I checked the nutrition label, and found it had per tbsp 0.5g less fat than half-and-half. The first sip was a little different than I was expecting because my coffee looked exactly as if I had added half-and-half. But the second sip convinced me. For someone with lactose intolerance, half-and-half was the single most difficult dairy product to give up. I had basically given up ever finding an alternative and just accepted the GI discomfort. Not any more. I also love that it is shelf stable so I can order it and keep extras in the pantry.
