It's a really good chew toy, but my Doberman is an aggressive chewer and it only lasted a few days.

It’s one of our dog’s favorite chew toys, and he can’t bite through it at all!

Welp, this USED to be my go to toy for my working dogs...any Kong toy in black would hold up for months, even over a year. Hadn't purchased any for 3-4 years as my pups matured but recently added a new pup to the pack and needed toys that would hold up. This is NOT the toy it used to be. I wonder if they've changed the material they use to manufacture because it didn't last more than a few hours. I took it away from them ( 2.5 year old Lab and 8 month Dutch Shepherd) because CHUNKS....and I mean chunks! came off like they were just taped on. Good think I supervise my dogs during play, otherwise it could've been a big problem. REALLY disappointed. I had purchased the round ring, 2 solid balls, and an X-Large and a Large on the Kong. None survived more than a day. Might as well have thrown $75 bucks in the trash, because that's where these are now...in the trash. Will not buy again.

Great for heavy chewers

We only buy Kong brand now, I don’t know what they put in this stuff, but it’s the only thing our mega chewer doesn’t get through.

I bought this as a replacement. The toy says it's for extreme chewers, but it does not seem to withstand a dog dedicated to chewing. The rubber seems softer than other Kong Extreme toys and can be chewed off in chunks. That said, the style is great for them to carry around and play with. Supervision required.

I have a Boxer that had chewed up some Kong toys as well as Bark for aggressive chewers so when I saw this had passed the test and shows no sign of rubber coming off teeth cutting into it. I mean this thing is the bomb. If she ever does wear it out, or more likely lose it I will order this again in a second

Unfortunately this didn't last long with our extreme chewing Labrador. He broke parts of it off after about two hours of play over a few days.
