These are a must have for my Black & Decker handy vac. They fit and work very well, and are as cost effective as replacement filters can be. I usually clean them out a couple of times before I replace with a new one, and they work well.

I checked the usual sources (the local stores) and these filters can't be found. This Black & Decker Dustbuster was bought new only 4 years ago, and the current models use a different filter. Thoughts of somehow making a new filter with foam and paper now put away, since that product number (HLVA315J) got a few hits. Amazon matched not only the number but also the distinctive shape, so Thanks a Lot Amazon! : A pack of 4 for less than what some single filters were priced at, but these still need the foam front since it's not included. At least that's not too difficult to fabricate. This small hand vac is great for tight spaces and quick cleanup of messy jobs, but the paper filters will get clogged easily without that piece of foam. A regular foam filter is easy to find- I'll just have to cut out that shape to fit.

My handheld vacuum is old and I needed new filters and was happy to find these on Amazon. My old filter was clogged badly even washing it didn’t help much. These work just like the original one did. In fact when I installed the filter I was amazed at the tremendous suction. It’s good to have three more waiting to be installed over time. This is an excellent replacement filter. I whole heartedly recommend.
