Smells sweet, tastes like heat
The smoked ghost pepper grinder I got from Trader Joe's ran out and I was very sad, because I used it on almost every meal and they are not selling it anymore. Then I realized that Amazon exists and so must more ghost peppers available within days, so I ordered this to refill my pepper grinder. Man do these smell great! I opened the bag and immediately gave it a smell and WHOOO! This stuff smells great! It almost smells sweet! I wonder where they grow this stuff - great flavor, great heat, I grind it on everything. Will likely order more when I run out again. Or maybe they sell plants? I bet I could grow some hot ones in Arizona. Anyways, great peppers. Fun packaging too.

A superior product
I dry the peppers out even more in the oven. I grind them in a spice grinder to make a fine dust. I use the dust on many of my foods including salsa, Chinese and Mexican. It is a wonderful addition to foods to give them a great spicy kick.

HOT
Hot stuff, I bought them along with red Thai chili peppers to grind up into a powder to sprinkle on food, I cut them in half and let them air dry out completely and it worked out perfect. Let them air dry in the garage or outside though or you might be sneezing lol

Serious Heat! Excellent Flavor!
I am no Ghost Pepper aficionado so I am rating this pepper on my limited knowledge. Before eating them, we reconstituted the peppers by soaking them in water for a few hours. Then cut the pepper in thin strips and tried on a cheeseburger. I must say the flavor was really good! We will be adding them to our chili in the future. And yes, these peppers are really hot! So the thin strip idea was smart because the next day I decided to eat larger pieces with the pepper seeds on pizza. This was no shining moment seeing as my Bum was on FIRE for a couple hours the next morning. You have been warned! I would highly recommend not eating a whole pepper unless you are a masochist. Also washing hands after handling is a good idea! I will be purchasing the peppers again. Was fun for family dinner! Thanks!

Most Likely Roasted or Dried in ovens
They are hot and add that spice of life to your meals. I crushed mine into powder awesome on mac n cheese... I bought these with a double purpose to to eat and for the seeds to plant this spring well they must have been dried in ovens. Out of about 100 seeds I tried to germinate with the moist paper towel in a ziplock bag method not a single one sprouted after 5 weeks. Hot and delicious but not viable for growing from the seeds.

Wicked Hot Peppers
I use these peppers to make baby back ribs for some friends. They like SUPER Hot, so I make a mash with these ribs, put it on the ribs and marinate them for 24 hours before cooking the ribs. There is not doubt they work as I watch my friends start sweating from the ghost pepper rub on the ribs. Too hot for me, but I make it for friends. If you like hot, this is your ticket
