Very nice
I'm 70 and haven't had a guitar in my hand for 50 years and decided to get back into it, so I did some research and ended up getting this one. It's a really nice guitar and sounds very good. My only gripe is the pick guard that you can put on is kinda small and the tuner does work but I would suggest getting a better one. All in all I would recommend this highly to anyone. I don't know why it says beginner, it's very nice. I also like the flat black finish and it makes hand movement on the neck easier. There are great instructions videos on YouTube as far as playing with older hands and simple cord songs, a lot of them are great.

Was skeptical but
I was skeptical because of the pictures of broken guitars in the reviews. I believe that to be the poor packaging. Which it was poorly packaged. It shows up in ONE box only. So if the delivery driver is in a bad mood and feels like throwing it around then your S.O.L. Fortunately when I ordered it and it arrived it showed up unscathed. After playing it for a few weeks i can honestly say it is a great guitar. It has a nice rich tone. Not twangy, doesn't rattle on the frets, etc. It's got a nice deep rich tone and the highs are a great accent. Overall I'd recomend it if your on the fence or not. I get it. It's not a very expensive guitar so you might be wondering if it's worth the headache if it shows up broken. But if you chance it and it makes there in one piece it's a great guitar. I truly enjoy playing it everyday between breaks and at night.

Pro-Musician honest review
I've been playing guitar well over 40 years - professionally for 15 years. I picked up this guitar as an inexpensive "travel" guitar with the thought, it's probably a klunker so no big deal if it gets damaged on the road. Wow, this guitar is suprizingly playable and sounds very good. The tuning machines are not great but get the job done. I can't get over the lively and rich tone this guitar has - I own several Tayor guitars as well as Ovation guitars and this one holds up well in comparrison (obviously, it's not a $3000 Taylor - but you get a good value for this price.) Excellent tone for the money, very playable and I think I'll keep it around for a while. - 5 stars for the price.

Not Worth It
While I liked the accessories which came with the guitar, I am very disappointed with this guitar and returned it. While I was playing guitar, it would not stay tuned. Save yourself the disappointment and money and purchase a better guitar the 1st time around.

Great Sounding With everything you need to start
Pros - Truss Rod; Iโve seen budget guitars without this. I come from a dry climate and as such have had to adjust my guitars. Itโs a deal breaker if you need one and donโt have it. Just be careful. It can take days for neck to settle even after minor adjustments - Fretwork was good. Didnโt notice any sharp edges. I wouldnโt say it was buttery smooth but great for the price range. - I didnโt notice issues with the binding or scratches in the wood. - Tuners were decent. Didnโt have any issues - Tons of accessories including a case. None of them are so great or so poor that Iโd call them individually. Other than the strings they are pretty close to what Iโm already using. - It sounded great and I found it really playable. This is the most important factor. No budget kit is worth it if the guitar isnโt good. Cons - Iโll switch the strings, but if you are starting out you wonโt be picky enough to care Itโs a great time to play guitar. Lots of great instruments at a fraction of the price they once were. And this is one of the better price friendly guitars Iโve tried.

Vangoa is the Van-GOAT
Vangoa makes really good acoustic for the money and I'm not sponsored or anything. Compared to the beginner fender acoustic I started on, these are amazing. Not all solid but more solid than a lot of name brands (you can tell from the smell, these smell like wood, I'll admit they smell like cheap wood but I'll take cheap wood over laminated flooring as far as 'huggabilty comfort' which is a major factor in guitars) These just smell authentic. They smell a bit piney+mahog+cedar and sprucey, which makes sense and I've camera photographed the interiors of a few of these with an action camera, so I know the inside is .. Built way better than expected! At this point vangoa isn't even leaving glue blotches on the braces, good interior and exterior sanding...they go all out. There are two negatives I'll give all vangoas.. They don't have 'fretboards and inlays and rosettes' it's all stickers, and painted on binding- it feels smooth though, and the neck profile is GREAT for playability- and the frets are SUPER low but you could call that an upside because...low frets mean you can set the action fairly low and as long as you have break angle you won't have much buzzing. Higher jumbo frets can have jumbo problems on cheap guitars so I get why they do this but ppl should know. SHALLOW frets, like super duper small frets. And the fretboard is basically a printed decal..not really but might as well be. It's very dry walnut that you can't oil so....that's a thing ..I'm fine with it but you may not be Incredible guitar for the price not just for beginners. I hate cutaways and this is a great LOOKING non cutaway acoustic!;Beautiful looking, beautiful sounding. I'm probably putting a $70 transducer in it to amplify which is frankly better than getting a cheap acoustic pickup installed on the new vangoas. My recs for pickups are journey instruments and amumu. If you want a volume wheel, the journey is the only good sounding choice, and you'll need a preamp pedal running behind it, but they sound great.

Good little beginner guitar
Luther of 15 yeares here. Probly one of the better beginner guitars on amazon. With the price point, case and accories its a good deal. You will more then likly need a pro set up. Decent strings, action adjust, and smooth out the fret ends as they are sharp. Keys arnt terrible they feel a bit cheep but they hold tune. As a beginner guitar i would recommend this one.
