Flameless LED Candles - 3PK, 5-Hour Timer, Realistic Wick & Unscented Wax

When I first saw these candles, I thought they were kind of pricey. I had seen (and purchased) many other faux candles for much less money and thought that I was being ripped off. I bought these because none of the less expensive candles were anywhere near as pretty and with the holidays coming, I decided to splurge. Well, now the Christmas season has come and gone and the "cheaper" (and far less attractive) candles I had also purchased cost me a bundle in batteries. I had to replace them every few weeks. I bought two sets of these candles a week before Christmas and, as I write this review near the end of February, they are STILL burning as brightly as they did 3 months ago! Those "cheaper" (and less beautiful) candles cost me MUCH more, in the end, because they used so many more batteries than these did. I cannot recommend these candles highly enough. They are beyond beautiful and, after three months, I still haven't had to replace the batteries. I orginally purchased them at Costco and they are slightly more here on Amazon.com, but still I am buying at least two more boxes now because, even at a slightly higher price, they are a serious bargain. A SERIOUS bargain. And did I mention how beautiful they are? You can buy cheaper (and far less beautiful) faux candles for at least $10.00 to $15.00 less and spend $15.00 to $25.00 more in batteries alone. Plus these have a timer built in as well. I cannot recommend them highly enough.I have to add that I didn't look closely at the box when I received these and was about to give them to someone as a gift and discovered that they, too, arrived broken. The packaging was impossibly thin. Virtually no packing materials in the box to prevent them from breaking... WTH?

We saw these candles in a lovely place we were staying recently in Colorado and then found them on amazon. We ordered them and received them FedEx in few days, but were disappointed when we opened the box to find that the largest of the three candles was broken in two places, each broken piece a couple of inches roughly triangled. These are real wax about a 1/4 inch thick mounted on an internal frame. The reason it was broken was because the box depicted in the amazon photo was crammed down into (this is true) a mozarella bread stick box and wrapped only in a couple of sheets of newspaper. Any bump in transit was sure to break something, guaranteed. This seller needs to improve their shipping drastically.All that being said, they worked wonderfully and I was able to repair the broken candle with simple glue and it does not show the repair. These are the best looking electric candles I have seen anywhere. Very realistic because they are real wax beautifully scuptured with a pattern. Gorgeous! They just need to buy some boxes and wrapping foam.

these are unbelievably cheap looking and crumble!! arrived with broken off bottoms, flake from shell while inserting batteries.would not order!!

too sparkly for me

I got these candles and the largest was broke on the base.They werent packed well for shipping,there was no cushioning in the box.So Im sure thats how one broke. The candles are alot larger around than I thought they would be.They flake off,every time you move them.They do work,and look nice,when on.I had to super glued the bottom of the broken one so you cant tell it was broke.I should have sent them back.Im giving them 3 stars only because they work and look nice.But they were shipped very poorly.

Bought as Christmas presents and shipped to out of town relatives. Considered these candles as gifts since they are safer, durable and very attractive year round for pool areas, patios and inside the home. Love the flameless and timer feature. They can be turned on and walked away from, automatically turning off after a period of time. My relatives, who love candles but not the mess, loved them. I wished I had a set. The wax of these candles are thick and very sturdy. Had previously purchased a box of 3 LED candles at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They were cheaply made with a very thin wax which breaks easily. As a matter of fact, the wax on 2 out of the 3 of the candles were broken and had to be returned. When I found the Flameless Candles on line, I did not hesitate to purchase them as they appeared to be thick and durable. It turned out to be a great purchase for just a few dollars more than the cheaply made LED candles I had to return. They came with batteries. (the others did not). They are lovely and look very real. Would recommend to any candle lover.

I have 3 sets of these candles and I love them - they have a 5 hr timer, switch to timer at the hour you want them to come on (first time) then each day they will come on same time and shut off after 5 hrs - they have a flicker affect which is really nice and the texture of the candles is very pretty and can be seen when candles are lite and flickeringhighly recommend product and seller
