Hi all, UPDATE: I thought I would write an update on the batteries from U-tec. While the batteries didn't last long, the company wrote me and asked me how they can better support me with the batteries, and they sent me another set of batteries for free. That's above and beyond service. Thank you U-tech! Thoughts these would have been perfect to fit my current U'tech key lock entry, but these batteries lasted less than a month. Any regular batteries work just as good or better.

Perfect for cameras .

I've rated the U-tec AA Ultra Lithium Batteries highly. To be honest I've only used the U-tecs for a few months, so for me to give a 5 star rating for Longevity and Battery life is misleading at this point in time. I'm using the U-tec AA Lithium Batteries in Blink cameras. The Blinks are fairly sensitive to the type of battery used. Blink recommends only Lithium AA cells. The Blinks come with the Energizers AA batteries. I've used the Energizers for 5+ years as replacement cells in the Blinks. In the last couple of years, it appears to me the quality of the Energizers has become erratic. I've needed to replace batteries in the Blink cameras after a few months. Often when I test the Energizer batteries that I'm replacing, one cell is good the second second is weak. Both batteries out of a camera should "fail" equally fast. They often don't seem to. That's the reason I'm switching away from the Energizers to the U-tecs. So far the U-tecs seem good. But I need a couple of years of experience with the U-tecs to see if they really and truly are up to the task of powering the Blink cameras.

Good value for my indoor and outdoor cameras.

I installed these into an electronic front door lock and it seemed fine after checking it out as we rely on this for caregiver access. I assumed the new batteries were good. We got a call the next morning that the lock was not working. I had to leave work to let the health worker in and then replaced the batteries with another fresh set, after which I checked the “bad” batteries with a meter and noticed 7 were around 1.8v but one was actually barely a volt with reversed polarity - I am assuming that battery was defective. The set of batteries were a few months old, still un-openned in their original packaging, and kept in a cool dry area so fairly certain improper storage was not the problem. I doubt I will trust this brand or batteries again.

Purchased these to use in my Blink cameras. Thought the price was great. They only lasted about three months. My previous batteries lasted nearly a year. In fairness I did change my settings, but I still expected a longer battery life.

I don’t know what the problem is for those people to give negative reviews on this. These batteries last the longest time I have ever seen. I put two of them in my b-hype valve in May. More than two months later, it still shows 100%. I have used many other brand batteries before. My experience with those is that I will be happy if there is 90% left. Yes. These are more expensive. But I don’t have to deal with changing batteries often. Get these and you won’t regret.
