Maybelline Brow Drama Crayon 1 Dark Blond

I buy two at a time as this is a wonderful eyebrow pencil and performs exactly as described. Unfortunately since the price is doubled I'll be shopping for a different item. I can understand it going up some but not doubled.

I have a blonde complexion but now have gray hair. The dark blonde is a good color for me. It has gone up $3 since I purchased it 2 weeks ago so I doubt I’ll purchase again unless price drops. When new it has a nice point but after some use it’s too rounded and makes fat brows. I can wipe some off and make do, but it seems to need sharpening. Evidently that’s not possible. Not sure whether I will enjoy using it much longer without being able to get a point on it.

I used to spend 30 something dollars on a fancy eyebrow pencil/crayon at the high end beauty stores and one day I decided to give this one a shot since it's was so inexpensive and had decent reviews. I'll never go back to the pricey stuff again. This works just as well if not better than the expensive brand I was using. It's creamy so it applies easy and stays on all day. It is a little thicker once you start you wear down the tip but it's easy enough to use a makeup pad or just a tissue to clean it up. Huge fan. I have brown eyebrows but I get the blonde color because I think it just blends in well with the brown eyebrow gel I use as a base. Highly recommend. Don't waste your money on the fancy brands.

I received this product and began using it immediately. I was truly amazed at how easy it was to apply and at how natural it looks once applied. I have very light, thin, sparse eyebrows due to hypothyroidism and am always looking for that great eyebrow pencil to color them in with that doesn't look like I have colored them in. I found one at a high dollar beauty store but it cost $30! So I began looking for an alternative that was more cost effective. I liked the idea that this was more like a crayon and pomade together so decided to try it. It glides on extremely smooth and easily! I have to be careful not to push too hard or it will color too darkly. Just a light touch is all it needs to give the perfect, natural look! This seems to last all day, I put it on at about 6:30 AM and I am writing this at 10 PM and haven't washed my face yet and it is still on! I would say its a great product. It's the middle of winter in Kansas so I don't know how it does with humidity or swimming but I am sitting next to a room humidifier and its not affecting the wear of the pomade one bit. I enjoy trying products and writing reviews to help other consumers make informed decisions. I hope this review has been helpful.

Loved this, for about a week. Then half of the tip broke off, leaving a big gunky stub making it impossible to use with any precision. Even with that, I still liked the product for filling a sparse area, BUT NOT FOR ALMOST TWENTY BUCKS! Last time I bought it in the Spring, IT WAS $9.00! Especially galling since a third of it went in the trash. Maybelline, shame on you. You lost me with your blatant greed!
