Open Farm products are amazing! My cat was throwing up multiple times daily, so we went to the vet and had lots of tests done. He was diagnosed with IBD, so I looked everywhere for clean foods that did not contain chicken, grain, soy, additives, preservatives, by-products, etc. After a long process of trying lots of foods (perscription and others) over a year, we found them! Both of my picky cats now eat Open Farm dry and wet foods, love them and my big guy hasn't thrown up in months! We are so happy!!!

The only food I can count on my cat eating…

I have tried every brand of healthy, expensive, good for my cat dry food. They always end up going back to some cheap brand because they turn away from the "good stuff" I was willing to try this Open Farm Catch of the season whitefish dry food. My boys prefer fish flavored cat food over chicken or other bird flavors. My boys ate this food the first day, of course I mixed it with their old food for the first couple weeks like always. They actually picked out the Open Farm pieces over the cheap brand which is not usually the case. I will be ordering this food for my cats until they decide they don't want it, if that should even happen. We are on our 3rd bag and they love it. They also seem to eat a little less, I'm thinking because of the good ingredients and good flavor. It definitely smells fishing when you open it which is great since I ordered a fish flavored food. :) My boys have healthy cat poo, very shiny fur and lots of energy. This product is a healthier option for my cat, and most importantly he will eat it. There are lots of options out there that cats will eat that are not healthy, but the key is finding one that’s healthy and that your cats will actually eat.

Long story short: I purchased white fish and my cat started to get allergic reactions from a potential chicken/chicken byproduct. I'm aware she is allergic to chicken, so I avoid any chicken meal in her cat foods. I typically buy this exact product ( white fish) in store, however the store I frequent was out of stock for a while. First time buying this product on Amazon. She started to get irritation above her eyes, and a few small splotches of irritated skin emerged on chest and hip over the course of a week or two. She was hesitant to eat her food when normally she'll jump up and eat. Vet had to give her a steroid shot and recommended switching products. Purchasing on amazon was the only new variable. Something I noticed when comparing original to amazon kibble: the amazon kibble was a little bit bigger than the original. Fyi: indoor domestic short hair, vet said no fleas or other issues, 3.5 years old, healthy kitty.

Top quality kibble, the ingredients speak for themselves. The added bonus my kitty loves this food more than her wet food.

I use this as treats for my cat as using kibble as the only food source is unhealthy. Seems to have good ingredients and my cat loves it.

My cat is allergic to chicken, so it’s not easy to find food or treats she can eat. She absolutely LOVED this food! It may have been a welcome change after eating the same things for the last 8 years. Her coat remains soft and shiny. Overall, I’m very happy to have found another safe and enjoyable option for her diet, especially as the price of her usual food has gone up so significantly in the past few months.

My cats love this food. It’s affordable and my one cat who has food sensitivities doesn’t seem to have any issues when she eats this kibble. My only complaint is the seal. Sometimes it works great, and other times i’ll have to store the food a different container because the seal is broken.
