Die Verbindung ist jetzt deutlich einfacher, stabiler und professioneller als gelötete Litzen. Wer es ganz sicher braucht, kann nach dem Verkrimpen ja immer noch Lötzinn drüber schmelzen. Man braucht halt Platz für die Zange und zum halten und es gibt evtl. beim Auto oder bei Haushaltsgeräten Stellen, wo es etwas zu eng wird. Die kleinen Kabelendhülsen sind etwas fummelig für die von mir verwendete Zange und man braucht etwas Übung.

**Q: Looking to buy the kit mainly for the tc1, will it work withe a wire 18 or 20 gauge, which tool is the best to crimp the connectors?**
A: Yes it will work to crimp 18 or 20 guage wires. I like the Paron JX-1601 crimper for the smaller guage wires. Find a bigger set with longer handles for the larger guage wires

**Q: What is a recommended crimper for these splices?**
A: I use a klein 1005 and hasn't let me down. It's the first tool I grab if I'm going to start doing some electrical work.
