After one season these trays have not cracked. I have used compost in these trays which seemed to create a perfect environment for my seedlings to thrive. The lids fit snugly, creating a mini-greenhouse effect. The adjustable vent works well.These seed trays have worked well for me. Plus, they're reusable, making them an environmentally friendly choice.They're durable, functional and economical.
