Solidly built
Perfect multipurpose hook with a long reach. I keep it with me in my vehicle after that one time I needed to open a drain gate to look for a cat that I thought was trapped, but didn't have the tools. It's good quality and USA-made.

Perfect Size
Much needed tool for my job as an inspector. Are old ones that are much more expensive and are bent at the tip and makes it super hard to open Manhole lids. The length I got is the 30" version and works well. I can slip this in my backpack hand loop at the top and hike through the woods. The smaller one (24") would be better for that but harder to open bigger Manhole lids 36" to 48" in size. I will take the Middle size all day. The longer one (36") would be more of a pain to carry. I would buy again or I should say I will make the company I work for buy again.

Excellent Tool and Service
I fumbled my keys down a storm drain, ordered this tool on a holiday Monday afternoon, and received it Tuesday afternoon. 15 minutes later, I had my keys back. Amazing product and service

Incorrect length
I ordered this specifically to fit diagonally in a regular suitcase to use in an overseas job. I had exactly 30" of space. However, the longest dimensions of this hook was 31". So it was too long and I thought I could make it work anyway. When I got the suitcase at the baggage claim the end of the hook had bused through the zipper. I will say that it resisted prying and the tip did not bend. It was a good hook otherwise.

Perfect for what I needed it for to get grass out of my septic tank
Sturdy and not too heavy! Had grass roots growing on my septic tank and when they pumped it out for the first time we found it. Liked that it was not round bar so I could zip tie to a pole saw pole and rotate on deep on the tank to start pulling grass roots out. Didn’t flex and had a nice handle to tie our pull rope it lift it up so we didn’t lose it in the tank.

Good quality manhole lid hook
I had my previous manhole lid hook for 20+ years until someone with sticky fingers decided to take it. This hook is good quality and does the job. Like any manhole/drainage lids if it’s rusted shut you’ll have to beat it with a hammer but regardless this hook get a good grip on the lid and lifts it up and off.
