I upgraded the stock beater on my DW5000 pedal to this, and I couldn’t be happier. It looks and feels beautiful and solid out of the box, and I love the look of the flat face and the removable weights. I left all of the weights in, and it’s still quite a bit lighter than the stock beater. It sounds nice and thumpy. I feel like the weight distribution of this beater has lent itself to much cleaner doubles and just overall better responsiveness. I love it. Great product and well worth the slightly higher price than most beaters

Without a doubt the best beaters I've used in 20+ years of drumming! Are they more expensive than most? Sure, but you're getting what you pay for here and these blow the competition completely out of the water in quality, adjustability and feel. Don't think, just do it.

I’ve tried a lot of different options but this one is the one I settled on. The four brass weights are a really really nice touch, and I ended up using three of them to get the feel that suited me. I even experimented with leaving out one at the top of the cluster Vs the bottom and there was an ever so subtle change in feel!! Definitely worth trying to see if this matches your playing style and touch.

Anders, als alle meinen Beater, dieser klingt echt sonor, fast vollständig ohne Obertöne, als wäre es ein Subbass Beater. Auch, wenn nur leise gespielt, klingt der Kickdrum tief, weich, definiert. Ein gutes Kauf. Preis OK. Benutzt wird auf eine DW MDD Pedale.
