Let me get the negative out the way, Amazon state this is 110v it isn’t it’s 230v 50hz eu standard. Now this didn’t harm me I’m just glad I read some of the comments where 1 individual stated it was 230v and was the sole reason I bought it as I live in the UK. Now to what should have been the only thing I was going to type this tool is absolutely awesome it does exactly what it should I have no prior experience with this tool or anything like it the instructions are easy to follow and precise and my knifes are now razor sharp if you have been pondering just buy it.

how did i live without this...!!! it really is a superb sharpener...the only slightly negative thing i could say is...when it arrived it was the european 220v 50hz version...which is FANTASTIC, because thats what i ACTUALLY need...but i had been led to believe it was going to be the 110v 60hz american version so i had also ordered a voltage converter to run it, which i now dont need and have to send back for a refund which is a pain in the ***... but the sharpener is superb.

The item itself is brilliant! Amazing for my kitchen knifes and tools… Shame people aren’t doing their research or grasping that because it’s made in the USA you need to buy a transformer for about £22 for it to work. The item works on 110V and the transformer (looks like an adapter) lowers the voltage from our mains which works on 240V to 110V so it can be plugged in and work! Definitely worth it!

Does what it says. However I miss the s sessor attachment that came with MK1

You need to be aware that this will require a step down transformer as it is designed for the USA (110v) and not the UK (240v). No wonder there was a ‘it went bang’ comment in an older review. Haven’t laughed so much in ages. RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY.

Belts broke in the first go. Shaver plug not 3 pin no way of contacting seller. Found it half the price on AliExpress.

Not very impressed with it at all

I've tried all kinds of knife sharpening tools in my life, but this one is a complete game-changer. It got all my dull knives razor-sharp in minutes, whereas previously it would take hours. I like my knives sharp, but I don't have time to sharpen them every time they lose their edge. This tool now allows me to bring my knife back to life in under two minutes, and that's including taking it out of the box and plugging it into the socket.

The company's Youtube channel has a great tutorial video that makes this product less intimidating to use for the first time. Great compact design. Quiet. Quick process. Multiple grades of sand belts included, which were easy to switch out. Bilateral blade guide for easy use. Most importantly, great results - exceptionally sharp blades. Highly recommend. It'll make you want to sharpen every blade in your home!

Definitely better than stupid rolling tumbler or whatever. Sharpens good, easy and quick. Please take time to go through videos explaining how to sharpen. There is a lot of room for rookie mistakes.
