Does this screen protector work with most ps vita grips?

Yes it certainly does. I have the full shell case with the L2/R2 buttons imported from Japan and it is nice and snug and works great with this screen protector. I also have a back only, snap in protector I had before the full shell arrived, but it will obviously work on any of these snap in type of cases.

Does this fit the pch 2006 model

It fits my launch PSP1000 fattie perfectly. It went on so clear and smooth you actually have to look for the outlines where it stops.

I cant find a video of this being installed. I installed mine and it looks fine but is there a top layer i need to peel off?

Mine had a peel off sheet on the sticky side only. I really wasn't happy with this brand so I ordered custom cut screen protectors from a specialty gaming store for all four of my Vita's for $15 each.
