Keter Solana 70 Gal Outdoor Storage Bench for Patio and Pool Accessories

I am so happy with this storage bench. First of all, the color is fantastic. It matches the dark wooden beams in our house and fits with the decor in the living room. It does not look like an outdoor bench in my opinion, it can work inside just fine. Second, I was able to install this all on my own, and I struggle to assemble things sometimes. I didn’t need any fancy tools, I just followed the directions and slapped some things into place (literally slapped it with my hand to get it into position). Third, our cats love it as a sitting area next to the dining room table, and they can look out the window by the front door. We add a cushion on the seat for them, and open the curtains. I could see dogs enjoying that just the same. Finally, and most importantly: it’s fantastic for storage! I will say, it does not look sturdy enough to hold super heavy items. The plank at the bottom is not solid hard plastic, it is light weight and seemed like it might bend or give away if we put something heavy inside. I keep reusable grocery bags in there along with blankets and pillows and it works great for us. Highly recommend this if you’re tight on storage and have a lot of empty space in a living room area!

The storage unit inside it’s Big! It fits my full sized sleeping bag, a foldable camping table, some swimming pool floats and a 5 gallon water tank. And it still completely closes to lifting. It’s really strong and stable, true to the weight required range. Assembly didn’t take too long either and it seems to be waterproof due to the material. I’m in love with it and again the storage capacity is crazy.

This storage bench is lovely and looks way more expensive than it is. It was a little difficult to put together as some of the pieces were quite long/tall but the instructions were good. My only issue is that once we got it together and put it on our back deck, a few days after we had another huge wind storm. Since we have not replaced any trees yet for those we lost in the 2021 EF4 tornado, the wind just whips around the back of the house. I kept hearing a thumping noise and finally figured out it was the bench swirling and twirling on our back deck with the wind! It was quite funny and now I know, and would suggest, after putting it out, ensure you put something inside to help get some weight in it so this doesn't happen. No worries - nothing hurt the new house, the deck, or the bench itself. It's very sturdy!

I TOTALLY LOVE this product! Living in Hawaii, it’s difficult to buy quality and large items. So I use outdoors at our front door entrance. It’s a great large storage space. I put extra shoes and gardening tools in it. BTW!! It makes a GREAT HIDDEN STORAGE FOR ANY package DELIVERIES we order. It’s made of resin(?). Good material because our dogs mark a lot of territories! Seems stable. Yes water resistant. Yes, all lined up well. And, I do like having the side arm rests on it too.

I received the bench but the box was damaged and opened on the damaged corner. When I was ready to put the bench together several weeks later, I discovered that the assemble instructions and screws were missing. I tried calling Keter and the recording instructed me to go through the website. I did that, however when I input my issue and my address to have the instructions and screws sent, the website never would accept my USA address. I would only except a UK address. I confirmed USA was always selected and it would still not accept my address. I hope someone with Keter can contact me to resolve this issue. I would still like to make this bench work and not send it back just because I didn't get instructions and screws.

If you work in the manufacturing industry like I do, you know that there’s plastic and then there’s PLASTIC. The best way to describe it is you can make anything out of plastic, but the plastic can either be soft or firm. Think of the difference between the plastic your child’s toys might be made out of the plastic or synthetic material. You might see on the interior of your car. You noticed the difference you see the difference. This Falls in the middle. Not the most expensive plastic you can get, but it’s also not the cheapest plastic you can get. I thought this product would be more similar to a fake wooden bench. No, it’s a plastic bench. As soon as you sit on it, you can tell when you assemble it you can tell it’s plastic. It’s actually a bit overpriced I think it gets the job done for what it should be 70 gallons of storage in a well hidden fashion. Depending on your needs, it could work. Read the rest of my review below. The assembly process is straightforward there are a few screws. You have to use to assemble the product to usually hold metal bars in place, but for the most part, everything slides and snaps on click click click. It’s a well thought out design, but I urge you to remember this is plastic or synthetic material. I did have one issue during the assembly process when you make plastic like this the manufacturer usually injection molds the plastic so they have to make sure that all the edges are rounded off properly. They have to make sure all the holes that might be necessary for the assembly process or complete. Usually have a de-burning machine or some sort and a wuality check. Well, I got 2 pieces that failed quality check. Easy to fix in one case you literally just had to snap off a tiny bit of plastic on an edge and make room for a screw hole. Nothing major. On the bottom of the bench where you put 12 screws total in8 of my screw holes weren’t there you could see they should be there the outline of where they should be clearly visible, but they were never punched through. No, I’ll be the first to admit. I am no carpenter. I work in Finance in the automotive industry and I used to be an engineer years ago this wasn’t something that was hard to fix, but it was a quality check that was missed. Functionality wise it does what it should do a simple sturdy bench that has storage. I’ll admit some people in my family are a bit on the hefty side. They are afraid to sit on. It can’t say I blame them it’s a hollo Assembly. Anyone who purchased it will notice that from the beginning you can pick it up by yourself if you’re an average strength male, it doesn’t have a lot of heft to it, but it has functionality. The kids in the family Will sit on it, and I will store my barbecue equipment in it.

I was a bit leery about what I would receive and the assembly based on some of the bad reviews I read but I’ve learned from past experiences that a lot of bad reviews come from people who don’t seem to fully read product descriptions dimensions and do research on products before purchasing (like watching review videos which I always do) also some bad reviews from people that don’t understand that sometimes accidents happen (missing parts broken parts) When the product arrived I took all the parts out and reviewed the instructions and parts list in the instruction manual to get. Good understanding of what each piece was and how the assembly would be done before I started. It’s true that pieces that were supposed to “click” when put together did not. I also received mine with a broken part but was able to still assemble the bench and contact the manufacturer for a replacement part. (Manufacturer makes it really easy to do via an online form. You can also call or email for a replacement part) I didn’t get any push back or a bunch of questions just “what color bench did you order” I’m not the type of person who expects everything to also be perfect, thing happen. What matters to me is what is done to rectify the issue. Luckily I’m able to use the bench while waiting for the replacement part. Part of the back was broken but I have mine against a wall so the wall supports the back while I wait for the replacement part. Considering the bench was only 150 dollars I’m impressed with what I got especially after browsing similar storage benches and their prices before deciding on this one. As far as sturdiness goes, I was a bit concerned when I was organizing and inspecting parts before assembly (it did seem like the plastic was thin) but after it was all put together it feels very sturdy. I know once I receive my replacement part I’ll be even more impressed. Assembly was very easy, there are not many parts and few small parts. Few steps and I was very satisfied when it was done (even with the broken part) pics I have seen on bad reviews look like the person might have been rushing through assembly or not following directions properly

This bench is awesome. It is sturdy, easy to put together. I have had other outdoor storage benches but none compare as positive ly as this one. The assembly instructions are clear and all pieces fit together. I am delighted with my purchase.

No me dieron opción de cambio y la opción de reembolso me pareció arriesgada porque sí quiera banca, así que me la quedé. La banca armada queda bien y parece resistente, pero un par de piezas venían algo rotas.

Llegó incompleto, no traía tornillos ni el aditamento para el candado
