Perfect for my needs. As others have stated, the blue film is kind of annoying to get off, but not the end of the world if it’s not visible. I used these for the bottom braces of a picture frame fence to stabilize the 2x4s, and I was able to STAND ON TOP OF THE 2x4 AND WALK ACROSS IT…. and they held up just fine. These were a risk to purchase for this project but they worked out phenomenally. The one and only downside is that if you’re installing these in very close quarters, it’s a bit of a pain to finagle your tools and your hand where they need to be. However, aside from that, they’re lovely.

This isn't cheap metal because its thin. I tried to bend one just for heck of it by hand and it didn't even flex 1 bit. I'm going to use these to reinforce a fence I'm building and didn't want to see huge brackets. Very easy to install I'm using 1 1/4 # 6 stainless steel screws, for 2 reasons. Like metals don't corrode over time, like putting normals steel screws through this would, THAT'S WHY, I'm using stainless screws also, which were way more expensive than the brackets. There's a blue plastic protective cover 2 peel off 1 side and on the other nothing but some holes with burrs on them, they didn't debur these, but it'll work better 4 me this way and grip into wood also to. Excellent value as priced. I do recommend them for the 2x4 sections/boards on a fence

Basic brackets. Solid. Better for inside use. Most likely will rust outside

These are not flimsy and cannot be bent by hand. They are good enough for garage shelves, or smaller indoor shelves. Great value.
