This baby book is great for documenting your baby's first five years of life. The book is hard covered. There is nice spiral binding on the inside of this book. There are many beautiful details throughout this book. There are even places for you to add standard photos. This book starts from the first day of your baby shower, and goes all the way up till 5 years of age. I love that at the end of the book are two envelopes that are used for keepsake momentos. You can have your special mementos such as their first haircut, first lost tooth, and their hospital bands. The pages in this book are nice and thick. Your pen or marker will not seep through each page. I love to use my gel pens for this book. Each page has beautiful details and many specific things you will want to remember in your baby's life. There are lots of vibrant colors throughout the book. I love that you can document so many special memories in this baby book. This is a beautifully made baby book. This company also offers another version of this book with a gorgeous wreath of flowers on the front cover. I looked for a baby book for months that would satisfy my first baby crazy mom standards and this fits the bill! I look forward to adding to this baby book each month with my newborn but there are pages for the first years of life too. It is well made, cheerful and would work for boys or girls. My only wish is that it would be larger! (To better fit bigger standard size pictures) The designs in the book are well done and quite cute.
