Will it grate carrots?

It can finely chop the carrots but not grate it.

Im trying to decide if this is large enough for my needs,. I make cake pops and use a food processor to crumble the cake. Any idea if this will hold

This isn't a large chopper. An efficient crumbling volume would probably be the equivalent of cake for 5 pops.

Has anyone made Pesto with this Chopper?

I have not personally made pesto with this food chopper, but check out videos abouth the food chopper on You Tube. I believe that some examples of how to make the pesto are there.
