This is a well-built fan that blows a LOT of air through without undue noise or vibration. If you want it for something like drying a carpet or painted walls, as other reviewers have noted, it'll do the job for a very good price. We wanted something to try cool down the garage in summer, and for that purpose, especially when we're working in there, a fan that moves side to side is a better fit. I misinterpreted "pivot" as "moving." The blades really can be adjusted from zero to 270 degrees, but once positioned, it blows from that direction only. Easy to carry; very stable, non-obtrusive profile. It's all good except I need a fan that moves.

I ended up here thanks to DC Rainmaker's review of trainer accessories. I had been using a Utilitech Pro fan from Lowe's for training and thought it was solidly "ok" for this application. The airflow was high, the fan was loud and the flow was diffuse. This fan is quite the opposite for indoor training... the airflow feels higher due to the focus, the fan is quieter and the flow control is precise via the tilt feature. You can direct the air to cool your head/neck/upper chest when positioned ~2 ft in front of the front wheel. It is muted enough (note, it's note silent!) to listen to Zwift prompts on the TV. No one is complaining now in the next room over due to fan noise. The noise issues are now just my complaints about the effort needed keep up with the pack!

I love this fan! Built solid and sturdy, perfect for the job site where level ground may not be available. The fan blows a powerful air flow on all 3 speeds and being able to point the air flow easily where it's needed is next level. Lightweight, built to last and top notch performance.

I bought this for myself for Father’s Day after sitting on it for almost a year. I’m very happy with my purchase and although I didn’t snag it on sale, it makes home workouts in my garage much more bearable in the summer. It pushes lots of air in a very narrow stream which is perfect for when I’m on the rowing machine.

Living near the coast of San Diego we normally do not need an air conditioner but lately it has been quite warm (for here). We bought this for our living room and have been blown away. The way the air comes out really has a cooling affect which makes it very bearable in the living room. Have a smaller one for the bead room too which is great. Highly recommend this unit.
