I study Buddhist Philosophy, and have spent some time studying Kabbalah as well, so I am pretty well versed on many of Hermetic and Occult Topics, where I have done presentations, including Kabbalah/Qabalah. With that, I want to share with you my thoughts on this book. There is a lot that went into writing this book, and there is a lot of information to glean from the information within it's pages, that will help you understand the many aspects of Kabbalah/Qabalah. When I received this book, I thought that it was an "absolute" beginners book that would delve into the more basic concepts of Kabbalah/Qabalah, but that's not what I got from it. It seemed to be more advanced in the information provided to the reader. I also would have liked to see some diagrams for the reader to visually take in as they were reading, but there weren't any, which was a bit disappointing. I think that someone with even a familiararity of the subject will get a lot from this book. There is a lot of great information in here, but there are some grammatical issues to be aware of. None of these will be of too much concern though. I did get some new understandings about Kabbalah/Qabalah from this book, and came away from it wanting more. The topic is a huge one to cover, and this book can be the gateway, or a springboard, to a lifelong journey into the philosophy known as Kabbalah/Qabalah. For all I have done, learned, and practiced in my life, Kabbalah/Qabalah was that springboard for me.
