If your nit-picky, you should know about this: -distortion at the min and max focal lengths -poor corner sharpness wide open at 70mm -chromatic aberration -The distortion doesn’t bother me. I shoot RAW exclusively so everything gets processed in Lightroom before it’s done. This is a checkbox and done -the poor corner sharpness at 70mm is a slight bummer, but it isn’t terrible if you’re not pixel peeping (your customers won’t be) and even so, the image quality is so stellar otherwise that this is a small price to pay. Especially for a “budget” lens like this -chromatic aberration can sometimes be a bit harder to take care of but if you’ve previously owned other sigma contemporary lenses, then you’re already used to this. After some Lightroom tweaks, you’ll produce a result that’s phenomenal and your customers won’t notice anything that’s left. All that being said, don’t take any of those negatives out of proportion. No lens is perfect, and for the price, you’re already getting a stellar product. Bottom line is that it takes gorgeous photos and it’s a nice looking lens as well (not that it matters).
