Funky tasting water. Inconsistent filtering speed. *by J***N on February 20, 2024* This is the worst filter I've used for Pur brand water filtration devices. The fit is ever so slightly off where it seats in the body of the Pur tank, which honestly isn't really an issue necessarily, but once it's seated, it either filters painfully slow, stops filtering completely, or filters so fast that it makes you wonder if it's even filtering anything. That last part makes me scratch my head because OEM Pur filters aren't super fast, but they're consistent and the water tastes good. I have dumped out so much water after filtering it with these filters, simply because it tastes wrong, for lack of a better word.
