Great for Latrax Teton. Two slight modifications.
It works great for my Traxxas Latrax Teton. Better steering all around. Only modification is cutting/trimming the white horn plastic piece that connects to the steering parts. I used a dremel to smooth it out and also part was touching the frame so I dremel that down a couple millimeters so it wouldn’t rub. The whole where the ball joint needs to be screwed into needs a tiny drill bit to open it up slightly for the ball joint to fit. I used players and drill bit together to create the bigger hole since the plastic is soft enough. Didn’t want to use a drill and destroy the piece. Overall I would get this again. Take your time and be patient. This is a good product.

Strong Servo
I have this in the elevator of my EF 48" EXP and it is strong. Make sure there is no binding through the entire travel of the servo or they'll burn out (common issue with digitals). This servo is stronger than the HS-65mgs and is about the same size. A good choice where the HS-65 is not enough, but the HS-85 is too big... Or where you want a digital servo instead of an analog hitec. I've never tried the Hitec digital servos, so I can't compare to those...

I bought 4 of these a few years ago to use in a 3dhs 48" edge. They were great little servos back then that centered well and had no blowback no matter how hard I pushed them. Fast forward to now and I bought 4 of these for a 44" 3dhs slick and after 20 flights they are working great and I love them. Would recommend them for anyone with a 44-48" 3D airplane where you want the best servos money can buy. Thanks Savox for making such a great servo at an even more fantastic price!

Thankfully I had servo tester or I would have ruined model installing this dead servo and trying to remove it
servo DOA. Tested with servo tester, no response. tested 2 other servos worked fine. Had I not had a servo tester, I would have glued servo in foam model and would have destroyed the model trying to remove it. Is there any quality control on these products?

Great scx24 upgrade!
Great upgrade for my scx24. You do have to modify and glue to stock bracket or upgrade to different bracket. More torque than you'll ever need. I've used for hours now hotglued in place with no issues. Really helps in tight situations.

It didn’t fit In the servo trey until I trimmed but fit between the SCX24 frame rails
I wanted to put out a review for all the people looking at getting a good servo for a micro crawler. This thing kicked ass I put it on my SCX24 and it worked great, had to trim up the servo trey, but other then that it was great

Would be a good deal at $20
The jitter on my servos (I bought 4) was normal, better than the turnigy look alikes. However, my elevator servo has developed slow movement in the up direction, as though there is a pot, motor, or gear problem, although the gears sound good. So my plane is grounded until I replace the servo. At the price they're charging, hitecs are a better value. If this sovox was about $20, it would be okay.

Not as durable/reliable as I expected
THIS SERVO SHOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE A LOT MORE STRESS. I'm a hobbyist that gets to drive my car a few times a months. I'm no professional racer nor full-time basher like you see on YouTube. I chose this servo because of Savox's great reputation; however, this little fellow was not worth the $$$. I used it to replace the stock servo (plastic gears) in my Traxxas 1/16 mini e-revo VXL. It worked well for a few bashes, but then my ESC and Receiver started to misbehave. The car would sometimes not respond (for a few seconds) to the transmitter, as if it had gone out of range. If it stopped responding, I would keep trying to steer/throttle the car, and then...eventually... it would start to respond after a few seconds. But here's the bad... Now my system (ESC and Receiver) DOES NOT EVEN POWER UP, while the Savox servo is connected. THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS SERVO. The ESC and Receiver function normally when I disconnect the Savox servo. Unfortunately this thing is beyond warranty, and I will try another brand before buying another Savox servo.
