Umenice Travel Umbrella

I needed an umbrella to carry in my truck. I always forget it when I need it. This thing is easy to use and functions as it should. I haven't used itin the wind to measure the wind resistance, but I'd imagine the build quality would hold up well. The color has not faded or diminished. This is light enough, kids and elder people should be able to use it without any issues. It folds up small enough to stuff it by my door.

This is not the largest umbrella but it is good-sized. I am very impressed with the quality and materials, especially the cloth part. Seems quite rugged. I purchased a second one as I like the first so much. I used these as "guest" umbrellas in my cars as they are compact, work well, and fit into the door pockets without issue. The cover is good quality, as well. And, they are attractive (for an umbrella!). The auto-open, auto-close mechanism is great for getting in/out of the car when it's raining. You can do both with one hand. No complaints at all.

I don't understand the variable ratings here, it's an umbrella, so 5* it opens when I need it to and it stops the rain without any weird extras. 1* it doesn't open or opens and won't block the rain. I have had a good experience with this umbrella, it is heavier than the kind I would normally buy and then throw away rather than let it dry and reuse it, but its seems to be that the extra weight is in the build quality. Holds up strong and its nice to get in the car and zip the umbrella closed with the push of a button. No more fighting with a release button outside of the car and getting wet. Bought another for the wife and just ordered my 3rd to keep the car.

I am very satisfied with this umbrella. The only drawback is that you cannot use the button to reopen the umbrella from the closed, but not retracted position. It has to be retracted, before the button will open it again. Small flaw, yes, but it matters when you have to get through an open air turnstile in the rain.

I've tried SO many travel umbrellas and this is by FAR my favorite. It's lightweight and pretty compact for an umbrella. It's not the smallest one, I've ever seen, but it's small enough. Plus, it's incredibly sturdy. I live in DC and we get windy rain storms all the time. My umbrella has never flipped up on me - it's handled the wind like a dream. The automatic open / close feature is extremely smooth (you click it to close the umbrella too) and the ribs appear to be pretty heavy duty. I loved it so much, that I ordered a second one for my fiancé. He lost it, so I bought it again. At $14, it's cheap enough to replace, but feels and looks like a very expensive umbrella.

I love this umbrella. I love Amazon and the ease of finding things I need so, although buying an umbrella would have been a simple purchase almost anywhere I found myself looking on Amazon. I chose this one and bought two. This is such a nice and heavy duty umbrella. Unlike other collapsable ones I have owned, this one pushes down from the top instead of having a piece in the handle that has to be pushed in often pinching fingers. To me this is a real plus with this umbrella. It is also light enough and small enough to carry but a very nice size. It fits into a handbag but I keep it tucked in the driver side door. I chose the red color and love it.

I was looking for a collapsable umbrella that would be very small and fit in by backpack easily, but have a large canopy cover. Most umbrellas either are small when folded and have a very little cover, or have decent cover but are big when closed. I looked around and ordered this because it appeared to have a large cover but collapse to small size, and it really does fit the bill! Length is exactly 11.5" closed, and diameter of the cover is 36" when open. It easily fits in my backpack, and I'm confident it will keep me (and the backpack on my back) dry. I haven't used it in the wind, but no umbrella is really "wind-proof" and I really wouldn't expect any to be. Also, some people complain that its hard to collapse the handle when closing it - I find that putting it against the ground or a wall and pushing the handle in is the most effective the way to do it. Very happy with my purchase. It feels sturdy, and I hope its durable.

Pay attention to the measurements. I was expecting a small travel sized umbrella. This umbrella is not mini in size.

Excelente paraguas por un precio más razonable que el de la marca propia de este sitio y de la misma calidad. Super resistente y compacto. Vale la pena la inversión. Eso sí, cuidenlo mucho! Ya van 2 que se me pierden :(

Es de muy buenos materiales y hechura, se ve elegante y parece que será duradero. Además el color tinto en el que lo compré es muy agradable, exactamente como en la foto. La única razón por la que digo "casi perfecto" es porque yo preferiría que fuera todavía un poquito más corto cuando está sin extender. Antes tuve uno muy corto, más que este y desde que lo perdí no lo he podido remplazar. El anterior era como 4 centímetros más corto que este. Este mide aproximadamente 12 a 15 cm sin extender.

3 and 3 This umbrella is for you if. . . 1) You need a sturdy umbrella. I put my umbrellas through a lot (crushed in my bag, hitting stuff while closed and on the side of my bag, etc.) and this umbrella has not broken yet. 2) You need to open with one hand. It is so convenient to pull out the umbrella from your backpack side pocket, and open it up with one hand, by pressing the button. Closing is a little harder, as you need to push it down, but you're probably out of the rain by then. 3) It's a perfect size. It's definitely small enough to fit in a backpack but large enough to give you good coverage when open. But this might not be for you if. . . 1) You need a really compact umbrella. This might not fit into (or take too much space in) smaller purses or suitcases. 2) You only have one hand to close it. The button will collapse the umbrella, but you will need to push it down to get it compact. This can be annoying on buses or if you're other hand is full with groceries, shopping bags, etc 3) Still not great during windy days. While it is stronger than most umbrellas, it does nothing to cut down on wind like some other umbrellas. Hold on to it tight, as it tried to fly out of my hands a few times.
