How does the product smell?

First it works best on damp hair. Depending on how much hold you want is how much product you use. Like the others have said... it has a light pleasant after shave like smell that disappears once it is on your hair and dries. I'm writing this for my husband and I never smell it on his hair. Hope this is helpful.

Does this product work well for long hair ?

This is a great gel for short and long hair. It has a good hold.

How does this compare to stand tough extreme gel which was great ??
