It's an ok food thermometer. Comes in nice packaging. Bright and shiny. Easy to use interface. The battery is easily unscrewed with the enclosed screwdriver. Takes some seconds to give the reading. Instructions say can be washed after use, better to wipe it down. At this price point, the instant read ability isn't really there, but it's adequate for home cooking. Value for money. Response is fast enough. Readability and build quality are good. It has a backlight too. Magnetic, can stick on to the chimney, fridge, etc.
