Norfolk in a can
First time I've had this for over 30 years, a lot of my favourite beers have been down graded and just don't taste the same, but this Abbot Ale is still going strong at 5% abv so hasn't lost any character. Previously only had it from casks served in pubs but the cans are a good effort

Great beer
Some beers really suffer in the transition from bottle/cask to can, but - luckily - Abbot Ale isn't one of them. Some GL beers (Specifically OSH) really lose their sheen when poured from the can, but Abbot is near enough identical to the bottle version. Got this at a good price. Now sadly unavailable on here, but will buy again if it's ever available again for the same price.

Great taste, great value!
Must say Iโm really impressed with these beers. Rich and malty taste. Refreshing. The 500ml cans are bigger than the 440ml cans you get in the 10 packs in the shops. Highly recommended, will be buying again!

I'm being honest
Not as good as the draught version but still well worth buying. Old Speckled Hen is a better flavour,to me at least, in the canned style. Whichever you choose there is no better canned bitter than these two cousins.
