desertcart.com: Maximum Ride Forever: 9780316207485: Patterson, James: Books Review: Amazing Ending to a Great Series!!!!! - I give this book a 5🌞 star rating. The Maximum Ride series is the best series James Patterson has written to this day, one of the best series in existence, and my overall favorite series plus contains my top 9 favorite books. Haha. See what I did there? I don't want to give spoilers but if you have read when the wind blows or the lake house, her you know what is live, not an egg and yes, she has one, it is a girl. If you haven't read those 2 books yet, wait until you finish this series so that you can have fun finding what James Patterson based certain things off of. I also recommend reading all of these books in order for the ride of your life. This book is an emotional rollercoaster and I love it. I highly respect James Patterson for giving hints of being Christian and not tons of junk about God being fake like in Ernest Cline's book, Ready Player One. I am a huge James Patterson can and think he is an amazing author. After reading all of Maximum Ride, When the Wind Blows, and The Lake House, I recommend reading his Daniel X series because it is also very addictive and interesting, and the last book, I think the sixth, comes out in a few days. Plus, he directly references Maximum Ride in one of the books. Anybody that tells you that Maximum Ride is for girls is wrong and you should just tell them to shut up and go away. That's all for today folks, bye. Review: Great Ending - (This review has spoilers) Maximum Ride Forever made up for Never More. Too sum up Maximum Ride Forever, The Flock breaks up. Again. And all of The Flocks deaths were faked by a, "thought to be dead Dylan," to satisfy Dr. G-H. (Dr. G-H became is a secret terrorist who is called the, "Remedy.") (Dylan was kidnapped by Dr. G-H.) Meanwhile Dylan tries to fake Fangs death while fighting with a pack of engineered Erasers. In the end Fang died after getting one of his wing snapped off. After that, Max meets up with Dylan and Angel and a mutant named Harry (Don't Even Get Me Started) She meets up with the rest of the Flock ( After finding out about Fang.) and prepares to attack Dr. G-H with an army that Angel gathered. They end up killing Jeb who is involved in Fangs death (Obviously). In the end Max is dangling Dr. G-H in the air when she reveals that she's PREGNANT with Fangs baby. (I kind of knew something was going on.) Then out of nowhere Dr. G-H starts stabbing Max to try to kill the baby. With A Pen. I thought it was kind of funny how desperate he was. Angels army ended up winning. After the war Dylan shows Max to one of the labs inside the lair and tells Max that he can resurrect Fang. Of course Max said yes, but I didn't think she meant killing himself in order to give Fang life. (Oh ya, Dylan gave Fang a fake wing.) So you know Max told Fang that she was pregnant and Fang was exploding with joy. They had a baby Girl :). The book ended with Max and Fang teaching there daughter to fly. I thought the ending was cute. As I said before the book made up for Never More. I'm satisfied with the Maximum Ride Series and I wouldn't change anything.

Mild Spoilers
I would not have minded if they had ended the series with Nevermore, but this one seems on par with all the others in writing, humor, and plot development. Lots of loose ends tied in this one, folks. Seems a little rushed in the beginning and some of the mystery characters (though almost immediately revealed) are pitifully see-through, but though the book introduces some new, more adult content it still omits enough detail to be a decent read for children under parental discretion (sex scene, deaths, etc)

This series is quite the Ride ( get it?)
This series of books journals the adventures of a young girl and her flock. The best part of all these books is the conversations she has with herself. And the reader. She pulls you into her story, time and time again. As she goes through the series, the reader can feel her grown up and be more than she thought she could be. And becoming what everyone around her knew she could be. I recommend this series to anyone who is looking for an easy read that is hard to put down.

I LOVE THIS BOOK TO INFINITY AND BEYOND
The best I have ever read. (Poor Dylan, miss the dude) He should make official graphic novel ones and there should be a million movies of this but their only one and it's only half of the first book I'm mad it's kinda bad but I watched a million times because girl it's maximum ride I will NEVER give up the Chance to see something involving Max.😭 I miss her already

I can't believe it's over. I'll miss it.
I loved this book, and this whole series, so much! It was one of the best story lines I have read. I won't bore you with a plot summary as I know other reviewers are fond of doing that. The story ended in a way I can live with and even appreciate/like. I'll be sad to not read anything new about them, just a bit. I do wish this book had had chapter demarcations. Chapter demarcations make it so much easier to see how close you are to the end of a chapter or to find a stopping place when you need to do so. I can see the reasoning for not doing this with this author's work because the chapters are relatively very short in comparison to the work of other authors. If you enjoyed the previous books in this series, I say you should give this one a shot because I don't think you'll be disappointed. Have at it! I can only hope that someday we get some kind of new stories about these characters in some form.

I read the first three Maximum Ride books 10 years ago and only recently discovered that there were more than three. I read the other 6 in 6 days, so this is really a review of the whole series rather than Book 9. It was impossible to put this series down, hence the 5-star rating despite some imperfections. They are fast-paced, full of action and easy to read (note I'm not a young adult). The books have violence and romance but are cleverly written to keep things suitable for a younger audience, although books 8 and 9 are a little more adult than the others. The plots are often pretty thin and there are some unanswered questions and a couple of inconsistencies, but the pace, action, main characters and inventiveness make up for it. I enjoyed the slow burn romance story arc with Max and Fang (I really did not like who Max was around Dylan), and the constant supply of kick-ass fight scenes. I liked the plot thread on climate change but some of it was a bit too preachy for me in the middle books. In my opinion, book 9 is definitely a worthy addition to the series - it finishes things off properly and ties up some loose ends, in a way that book 8 doesn't. Basically, this is an awesome series: don't think too hard and just enjoy the ride.
