Can I use these vials to store essential oils?

The vials are designed for single use in an auto sampler for an analytical instrument, therefore, they have a relatively thin wall. As for storage, they should perform well considering a PTFE cap liner.

Do thesse leak if they have liquid in them and are in the cargo hold of an airplane? In the passenger compartment?

Excellent for what I've needed in the laboratory. Cap fits well. I place Kapton tape along the underside of the cap, in order to make it more resistant to volatile or corrosive solutions. These are well made and the caps hold on well, no issues to report whatsoever.

Work for what they were intended for. The printing on the outside of the vials came off when they were cleaned in an ultrasound bath but that wasn't a problem for my use.
