Soudal 50A - 4 Tubes - Universal Adhesive for Styrofoam Ceiling Tiles - Pack of 4

I highly recommend using only this adhesive with the Styrofoam ceiling tiles! I know it’s a little more expensive than Loctite but it’s worth the extra money!!! We ran out of this and of course wanted to get our project finished so went to Lowe’s and bought some Loctite. Loctite is much thinner product and takes longer to set. It makes working with your ceiling tiles a little more difficult because they move around more. The Soudol is thicker and gives you enough working time to put them in place.

This is not the traditional silicone tubes we are all familiar with. It's pretty stiff (I've had worse) and recommend using a powered caulk gun. You can use a manual caulk gun and it will work. Regardless this was the perfect solution for a ceiling tile replacement.

I was very surprised and delighted that this glue did not have any odor at all. It worked perfectly. We used it for the ceiling tiles and it holds really well. A very good product that I recommend.

I installed styrofoam ceiling tiles on lath using this product. It performed perfectly.
