Super Mario Little Golden Book (Nintendo®)

Was very worried that I'd have issues based on reviews, seems like a lot of people received copies that had misprinted pages from other books entirely. I just received it and checked all the pages, they are perfect! The words are short and to the point, great for a young child. My son will love this for Christmas.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that little golden books had a Super Mario book. I bought it for my Adult son that collects ninentedo and super Mario stuff he loves it.

My son checked this out from the library at school and fell in love. Super cute little book for a Mario lover!

Perfect! I love it!

I read in previous comments that this book had no substance / good plot so I decided to share pictures of every page so you can decide for yourself whether to purchase this book. Pros: my 5-yr old daughter and I are fans of the Super Mario world characters. We personally enjoyed this book due to the vivid imagery and familiar Mario World characters . Even I learned about new characters on the Koopalings page. Like every golden book, it’s compact and easy to travel with for car rides, plane rides, etc. It’s always a win in my book when every page has a visual that I would consider t-shirt worthy. We decided to keep the book for this main factor. Cons: There really isn’t a dramatic plot. The books does introduce many Mario Bros characters. If you think about it, playing the game itself doesn’t have in-depth plot with profound meaning so I was not expecting the book to surpass what the games provided. My daughter loves the princesses so it would have been a nice bonus to see Daisy and/or Rosalina somewhere in the book. I didn’t peg a star because of this as it wasn’t expected , but more so because the plot really wasn’t there.
