However, turn it around and BOOM 💥 instant "HELL YES, this feels good" relief.I highly recommend this product. But nothing beats an extra large bag of frozen peas...

I was using 2 icepacks: one for my ankle and one for a problem tendon, which was a pain. This product has made icing so much easier! It is fairly easy to use once you use it once or twice. I have arthritis in my thumbs and the velcro straps are easy to manage and to pull. I have put it on sitting on the bed with my leg extended and in a chair (don't use one with wheels!). Both ways worked for me. The lavender color is also soothing to look at. You can reverse the icepack and depending on the leg you are using it on, you either have to use the cushy side, or the plastic side to get the maximum ice on the area you want due to the distribution of the ice. This means that when you use the plastic side, it's important to wear a sock. Another alternative would be to use a pillowcase if it's hard for you to put on socks ( learned this in PT!) With the cushy fabric side, a sock is not necessary. The material is sturdy and well constructed, and as others have mentioned, there is a plastic ziplock bag that it comes in that keeps it clean in the freezer.

This provides full coverage for the ankle and foot area with a soft inside that makes it easy to wear as the icy part does not stick or come in contact with skin. The only issue is it is rather bulky and heavy. It is for my daughter with a ligament issue and she really can't move too much with it on. It works great for recovery after an activity as long as she is willing to stay in one place for long so she can have her foot just resting in it but any movement is a little harder to do. Maybe that is good - heavy to move so you are forced to rest?

I would buy this again, but I am hoping to find one better suited to my needs. I agree with many of the other reviewers who said this doesn't stay cold for a long period of time. It does provide some immediate relief though, and it is comfortable enough that I sometimes fall asleep with it on. My biggest issue though is that it isn't long enough. I have a broken bone in my foot, and some pain radiates into my toes. I wear a woman's size 8–9, and the wrap doesn't reach my toes at all.

I recently fractured and dislocated my ankle. This ice pack easily conforms to my foot and ankle to get comfortable cold in all the right areas. Great! Design with easy straps and very soft fabric used for the side that touches skin. Also handy storage bag for the freezer. Worth every Penny. I just bought a second one.

This is an excellent product. Easy to put on, stays cold and is an excellent quality. Would suggest having a sock underneath when using as it is pretty cold to use directly against the skin. Really helps post op swelling and pain-Highly recommend

This is a very comfortable product, + convenient to use. After my ankle surgery I need to ice several times a day, so this makes it very easy. My complaint is that the foot portion, as opposed to the upper angle portion, does not stay cold long enough. By the time I take it off after 20 minutes, both my foot and the appliance are room temperature. So I'm probably getting 5 to 10 minutes of cold treatment there, which is not sufficient. The upper part does stay cold for the duration.

I have never been so impressed with the quality and how adaptable for my small Foot this was after ankle surgery. It has been so helpful and promoting my healing and package so nicely. I love the extra Ziploc bag for the freezer and how nice and snug it fits it covers every Bit of my foot. So thankful to have such a wonderful product.

I never iced my feet before, happy I started doing it, I stand all day and this makes a big difference.

I have purchased several different ankle ice wraps in the past with mixed success. These wraps tended to be composed of several plastic compartments filled with gel beads, with limited ability to cover the ankle/tendon areas effectively. Over time, the plastic would break down, and the beads would leak out.Although the REVIX ankle ice pack wrap is more expensive, it is clearly worth the extra cost vs. the cheaper models. The wrap fits like a boot; it feels comfortable, durable and effective; it stays colder for longer periods of time; and the gel packs can be easily shaped to fit snuggly around all areas of my foot, in-step, ankle and achilles tendon. So far, so good!
