I began to suffer with the most severe of panic attacks seemingly out of the blue over a year ago. I'd be anywhere and suddenly my heart began to beat out of my chest with a nervous, burning sensation to accompany it, sometimes hot and cold flashes and a feeling of impending doom. This forced me to put a magnifying glass on my habits to understand what the issue could be.I began to realize that I had acid reflux after eating certain foods (raw onions, any type of grease, etc) so I eliminated them because acid reflux can cause palpitations. I also stopped eating after 7pm to make sure my gut has enough time to process my food before sleep (a busy gut can keep you up at night). I also realized I had an atrocious sleeping schedule (going to bed at 1am having to be up at 6am daily), so I began to go to bed earlier because the body simply needs proper rest. I wasn't exercising anymore (developed a phobia to exercise due to the palpitations/panic attacks), so I began to go for more lively walks every day. In summation, I was crossing my t's and dotting my i's trying to find the cause.I saw some improvements, but still...the palpitations were destroying me. It didn't matter what I was doing: I could be sitting down watching TV, I could be sleeping in the middle of the night, I could be laughing with a friend — no matter what, the palpitations would come. The worst part for me was waking up in the middle of the night with a 100+bpm heart beat because those types of panic attacks were really hard to calm down from (imagine the disorientation you feel waking up like that). Then slowly it also turned into waking up in the morning or from a nap with the same problem. Sleep, which was once a restorative experience for me, had become a nightmare and a source of anxiety.Enter the power of Magnesium L-Threonate! This was suggested to me by an app I use to track my health via urine samples. My magnesium levels were often measured as low in combination with high cortisol levels. The app suggested I give the L-Threonate type a try specifically, so I popped over to Amazon and found this gem.At first, I had a hard time ingesting it. I would squeeze the contents of the packet into a shot of water and mix it in. The taste was absolutely horrid, and I had a hard time taking the shot because the after taste was so bitter, I'd want to throw up (and I did sometimes, yikes!). However, after trial and error I discovered that a simple modification made all the difference: Instead of mixing it into the water, I simply squeezed it in and left it as is. Then I take all of it as a shot and it goes down super smoothly in one gulp. There little to no after taste with this method!The improvements and results I've experienced while taking this are unlike anything else I tried before. I am no longer waking up with heart palpitations in the middle of the night, nor when I wake up first thing in the morning. I have little to no brain fog during the day, which helps me interact better at work and with my loved ones. I don't feel worried or anxious about having panic attacks anymore, and if I do experience those physical symptoms that resemble a panic attack, I am able to remain more calm and talk/breathe myself out of them before they escalate. This is a miracle for me, and so long as it works, I will continue buying this product.I've seen reviews about the pricing, and I can understand it may not be worth it for those whom this has no effect on. But to me, due to its efficacy and the amazing improvements I've experienced, this product is priceless. I just can't put a price limit on my health, and to be frank, many of us splurge way more money on things that aren't even useful to us at all. I've adjusted the way I view this as an investment in which I see a return on, on a daily basis.Don't be discouraged to try this (or anything else, for that matter) simply because someone else had a bad experience with it.
