Ill gladly buy this product, if i get the real thing** A: Hello! I received my shipment recently, and was not one of the "ripped off" people, so I can't address the refund issue. Re: the real thing - these are real, rough opals for sure...they're just very small. Pictures on the web can make things seem a different size than you might think - probably why some people felt ripped off. For the price - I got 7 rough stones, and I can see opal in all of them, some have more opal than others. The size of each stone is about 1/2-3/4 of an inch. I'm honestly surprised at the quality for the price. I now have a collection of ethiopian opals and an australian one (the aussie one was way more expensive but given the rarity, one gets what they pay for). I'm honestly not sure why there aren't more 5 * reviews considering how real these are. Clearly not lab-made. I highly recommend...in fact, I'm about to place another order. ### ⭐ Low quality stones with excessive potch *by T***G on October 14, 2021* What I ordered was 25ctz of raw opal. When ordering raw stones, you always expect there to be a little loss for inclusions. After allowing the opals to soak in water then cleaning them with a toothbrush and dental pick, what I was left with was 12ctz of actual opal. Less than half the advertised weight was actual stone. 13ctz was potch/hard pack mud. One of the 'stones' was, in fact, completely comprised of patch, and had zero opal in it.Absolutely NOT worth your money. They claim to be "hand selected stones".
