4.5 stars rounded up to 5... I have had W-King’s older model D8 speaker for several months now. I love the D8! It sounds very good, has sufficient bass for my taste, and gets plenty loud for my needs. I like its design and functionality. My only gripe with the D8 is the repeating low battery signal that starts chiming every 90 seconds at 20% battery. I skipped the D9 but am trying out the new T9 party speaker based on my love of the high quality D8. For straight-up value, you can’t beat the D8, but the T9 is remarkable! It is a good-looking, hefty speaker. I estimate it is twice as large as the D8. It sits tall with the controls on the top. I prefer to lay it on its side, and it has discreet rubber pads on one side for this. The T9 sounds fantastic! The bass is even improved from the very good bass of the D8. It gets plenty loud for my use and can shake the walls of my bedroom. I really like that this unit has a dial for the volume. It also has a simple, effective, and removable handle, which I appreciate; although it tucks away easily, I don’t think I’ll ever remove it. It comes with very nice, braided cords for USB and 3.5 mm auxiliary input. I have to use an aux input when watching videos on Hulu, for instance, with the older D8, due to sound latency, but I have not noticed sound latency on the T9. The W-King wizards addressed the low-battery signal! Now only one chime is emitted at 20%, one at 10%, and one before it shuts down. Hallelujah! I’m not a “party” guy, but the lights are fun , they have several settings, and I can turn them off when I want. I do wish the unit would remember the light setting. Once it is restarted the light setting is back to the original. I would generally prefer no lights, and I need to cycle through 5 presses to turn them off. Another small complaint (and it may be user error/iPhone error) is that my phone will not tell me the T9 battery percentage like it does for my D8. It has no waterproof rating, likely due to the method that enables the awesome-sounding bass, with an open port on the back, so take some precaution. The battery is pretty good, maybe slightly less effective than the D8’s. Great speaker. Awesome functionality. If you pair 2 together, you could rock any party (but that’s more volume than I’ll ever need). One is more than enough for my uses. I am very pleased with both the W-King speakers I have purchased and I recommend them to all music lovers.

This is an upgrade from a previous boombox that had a power of 60W. Well, this was the ultimate upgrade, approximately 180W. For the size, the sound output is very impressive, probably good enough to start up a mini rave. On full blast, you can feel the bass in your stomach, but it really depends on what kind of room you are in. The kicks and drums come through really well, just enough to get the party started. Additionally, the highs and mids have much clarity, and aren't muted by the intense bass. All sounds come through clearly. Surprisingly, it was more lightweight than expected, and can be carried around with ease. For the price, I would say it is very good, though if you are looking to use it for a wedding or large event, I would choose a bigger speaker. Though if you just want to party with your friends, this is bang for your buck. Bluetooth speakers are GREATLY overpriced these days, but W-king still delivers competitive quality for a better price. When this product arrived, the battery was at full charge, no problems with that. It consistently brings the power and stereo at a great volume, without sounding like it is under stress. The Bluetooth connected really quickly and effortlessly; it rings once when it is successfully paired.

very good speaker with rotary volume dial. gets pretty lound, with appreciable bass. i have two of these and the stereo TWS function is a level up. these don't connect to the W-King app and the BT is version 5.0. Connecting two speakers was pretty easy. For the price, worth it to get two for s t e r e o sound. Good bang for the buck although W-King has newer models that can be EQ'd through the app. Still, these speakers can get loudish, while still being fairly small and reasonably portable. with two of these, the true wireless feature really comes alive. that's because you can position two speakers to maximize the sound in different environments. with a long bluetooth range, you have a very wide potential for your sound field. Just a single speaker is obviously more limited. I got the aftermarket cases for them which aid a bit in transporting them. overall these are decent for the price and will check off a lot of boxes for a mid-sized BT speaker that's capable of outdoor duty. The 80w RMS is vibrant but also directional. With the two-speaker setup, the wattage sounds lounder because the overall sound is more immersive.

You want to impress your friends? THIS is the speaker to get! I've tested a bunch of different Bluetooth speakers the T9 is my favorite. The W-King T9 will crank up very loud and the bass on this thing sounds SO damn good! I've tested many Bluetooth speakers, this is the best bang for your buck! It blows away the big named brands that are stupidity overpriced and can hold it's own against other larger party boxes at much higher price tags. The T9 has REAL bass and very good highs as well as mids. The lights are a cool feature that goes with the beat and the pattern can be changed or turned off completely. The handle is a very nice leather like material and can be tucked back out of the way or removed. 24hr battery life and USB type C charge port, I can charge it anywhere I can charge my phone even in the car. I personally don't care that there's no waterproof rating because i don't play it out in the rain or on the edge of a pool, you really don't need this speaker right next to you to hear it well, it can be placed a good distance away and will still blast amazing sound. I recommend turning the volume knob to max then using the volume on your phone to control how loud you like it because it doesn't sync the volumes together. Also if you really want this speaker to shine I highly recommend using an equalizer or download an EQ app and test out a few different settings until you get the sound stage you like, I have an Android phone (Pixel 3a) and use WAVELET from the play store, after a few adjustments the speaker sounds even better! It's nice too because when I'm in my apartment and don't want to disturb my neighbors with the bass I can easily adjust the bass down. You could also double tap the play button on the speaker and that will change it from indoor mode (with bass) or outdoor mode (no bass) as well. If you're looking for a party blasting speaker with bass that has plenty of volume this is the one to get, it's amazing value for the money. If you looking for something smaller but still very loud with respectable bass and waterproofing, the W-King X10 is my second choice. The T9 just has a bigger sound with louder bass but the X10 is similarly loud in volume. W-king makes some impressive speakers and stands behind their products from my experience.

Best speaker I ever had . Bass is deep and lightweight for portability . I think it's better than a JBL partybox coz it's cheaper by alot and it's actually louder !! I bought a JBL 110 and wish I would've got a bigger king now . You can't beat this speaker for real.

PROS: sound quality and battery life are good. stereo pairing works well. But there are THREE CRITICAL FLAWS: 1) very noticeable delay (at least 500 ms) between bluetooth input and sound output that ruins karaoke 2) sound fades out when music gets quiet, and then fades back in slowly when music gets louder. this ruins any music that has dynamic range (such as most classical music) 3) the speakers will not stay on if they are plugged in, unless a device is constantly paired to them. so if the speakers aren't close to the sound source, you will have to get up and turn on the speakers manually every time you want to use them. MINOR FLAWS / ANNOYANCES: 1) the speaker lights are on be default and there's no way to change that. this means you have to click the light button on each speaker several times each time you power up if you prefer no light show. 2) charging can take up to 9 hours.

I bought a pair of these speakers to use as a stereo pair. Primarily I bought them to use for a birthday party at a village hall and for that use I found that they were perfectly adequate. I had them at full volume and it was just loud enough to accommodate the dancing and singing going on, although if you were looking for 'night club' volume they wouldn't be loud enough. That was in a fairly large village hall though and for home use they are absolutely brilliant. In fact I had one of my neighbours, who lives over the other side of the road, come over and complain that the base was too loud the other evening and that was with all the windows shut (I presume his were shut as well as the weather was pretty awful). I didn't even have the speakers on full volume then either! Even at full volume the sound is excellent with no real noticeable distortion, the base is full and the higher end is nice and clean. The flashing lights on the speakers are not, in my opinion, particularly necessary. I guess that if you're having a party you would have them on but when I'm listening to music at home I generally switch them off anyway. I've found that the bluetooth range on the speakers is very good, I play the music from my phone and the connection has been good even when the phone is not that close to the speakers. The connection between the two speakers is excellent too and pairing them up was really simple. The battery life of the speakers is very good, not quite what is advertised in the blurb as they're giving a best case scenario, but it stands to reason that the louder you have them playing the less time the battery lasts. Even so, they last for a good few hours at top volume. For the party in the village hall I just put them reasonably close to a power supply and kept them plugged in anyway, so they were kept on full charge for the whole afternoon and evening. The speakers are quite heavy compared to your average bluetooth speaker and aren't really suitable for carrying around if you're out for a walk or similar activity but they're very easy to move from room to room or to take in the car. I must admit I don't often write reviews for things that I've bought but I had half an hour free while I was waiting for my washing to finish and thought I'd share my thoughts on these speakers as I'm really very happy with them.

As my second purchase W-King speaker I can honestly say is best speaker in this price, sound is loud, bass is deep asf, really good stuff.

Don't knock it till you try it. I used this as a camping speaker, was surprised on how loud and clear this speaker got. Not to mention the connectivity range that this speaker has with my phone. Paired with the outdoor mode that boosts volume this speaker is killer. I really like the different light modes and the ability to turn it off when not needed. Overall a really solid speaker if you need a budget friendly speaker that will get the job done.
