Great Seasoning But Packaging #FAIL
We have used Adkins Western BBQ Seasoning for years for a smoking rub. It's delicious. My only complaint with this particular purchase is that in the past, I had always purchased it through the Adkins website. This was the first time getting it through Amazon and this particular seller. I've always bought a case at a time....10 or 12 one-pound bags. This purchase was about the same weight and a BETTER price, BUT. And it was a big BUT, in my opinion. BUT....it didn't come in easy one-pound bags. It came in one HUGE bag with 10 pounds of loose seasoning. The bag was MUCH too big for the amount of seasoning and hard to handle. And I unexpectedly needed to find MULTIPLE seal-tight containers to put the loose seasoning into. And that's not even mentioning the difficulty and inconvenience of pouring the seasoning without making a mess all over my kitchen.

A simple rub ...Yet how you want bbq to taste.... Good on Chicken beef or pork !Also if you are a novice this simple rub will impress you friends !!!

very tasty and not to peppery
had a bunch of surgeries and have lots of issues with spicy foods, but not this, is our favorite seasoning because it has all the taste of a rub but not too peppery, even my 8 year old daughter loves it. our local butcher carried it but when he passed away his son sold the shop and we found this on amazon, am happy to have our favorite BBQ seasoning again.

Brisket, ribs, pork chops, and especially chicken legs. Makes the best bbq.
