Hi - Marvel Villainous and Disney Villainous are not designed to be compatible. In Disney, each character is anchored within their own movie. However, Marvel characters share a universe (and sometimes storylines) and interact frequently. Marvel still uses the Villainous system but has new gameplay elements to reflect this shared universe, such as a shared Fate deck and increased player interaction

Hello! This was primarily a time consideration on the part of the developers. While Marvel Villainous will technically work for five players, it may be a longer game than most would want to play.

Hi! How many card-protector sleeves will I need to protect the cards?

Each character has 30 cards in their deck, as well as 11 personal fate cards. There are also 15 common fate cards. So 220 cards total

What are the objectives of the 5 characters?

Hi Carissa - Here are their Objective to win: Hela’s Objective: Have a combination of eight Allies and Soul Marks and no Opposing characters at Odin’s Vault. Thanos’ Objective: Collect the six Infinity Stones. Ultron’s Objective: Reveal Age of Ultron Taskmaster’s Objective: Have four Allies, each with 5 or more Strength and each at a different location. Killmonger’s Objective: Take control of the mines and relocate two Explosives to any Domain other than your own.

Great game for Marvel fans

We’ve played a few versions of Villainous, and this Marvel one has been a lot of fun for our family. Each villain feels different, so it doesn’t get repetitive, and everyone likes having their own goal to work toward. It does take a round or two to really get the hang of it, but once it clicks, it’s really enjoyable. Games can run a bit long, but that just means we’re all pretty invested. If you like Marvel and strategy games, this is a solid pick.

We really enjoy this game. If you’re a fan of Marvel and enjoy strategy board games, this is a great pick. The Villainous format is a lot of fun and the Marvel theme adds a great twist. Would definitely recommend.
