ARAX Pitta Mask, Gray, 0.13 Pound

Inside the bag are three individually wrapped masks and so I must insist you take them out of the packaging to AIR OUT OVERNIGHT before wearing, as they smell quite strongly of something sweetly stale... Other than that, these masks work fantastically and just as intended. I bought these for covering my face when I don't want to wear makeup and for aesthetical reasons. Since I don't have any seasonal allergies I wouldn't know how well this would work for someone who does have them. For those of you concerned about your head being too big, I can confirm that this'll fit just fine and won't be uncomfortable around your ears, the material is spongy and soft :) As stated above, just be sure to air them out for at least 6 hrs before wearing to avoid weird packaging smell. Other than that, these are really nice to have and I'm definitely repurchasing when I need more.

While in Japan in 2019, I randomly purchased these mask at a store I stopped into. I placed them in my luggage and completely forgot about them until the panic hit the US. Thankfully I remembered and have been wearing them since last year. PRO: They are much more easy to breath with and they are very lightweight. I have hand washed these so many times and if you are gentle enough, they will last. I purchased this second package as a back up. Like I said, these are very thin and lightweight, so if you are heavy handed, they will rip! Plus if you take care of them, you are not wasting anything like with the SINGLE use surgical masks. CON: I have one issue with these... Since they are not absorbent, if you start to perspire it will start to feel very moist. *Thats what she said* Other than that, they are my favorite. WASHING: When I wash them, I use an antibacterial soap and warm water. I will make sure they are all lathered up and after I rinse I place them in a paper towel and gently squeeze out any water, then lay them flat to dry on a paper towel. Since they are thin they dry pretty quickly. TIP: I accidentally placed my mask in a little bag with a couple oil mixtures I have. Since it is essentially a sponge, it had absorbed the scent of the oils. So I decided to make myself an EO spray mixture and I would spray the mask. Not scientifically proven to do anything (prevent disease or keep people away), but it smelled good. so there's that.

I love it. It is real. It look like so cool and can be cleaned. I wear it just right, my husband looks a bit small, probably because he wears glasses.

I was a little hesitant when I first got this mask, as it seemed very thin (I'm very used to cloth masks). But when I use this mask I find that it's very breathable. The material is very soft so the ear straps are not uncomfortable. It has a minimal look to them which I also very much like.

These are great masks! Super soft and breathable but just know they are a little flimsy as they are not really reusable multiple times.

I purchased this mask because my seasonal allergies has started. Regular surgical masks are difficult to breathe in but this provided filtration of the pollen and dust and allowed me to breathe easily. It is manufactured by ARAX, a pharmaceutical company in Japan. It is lightweight, flexible, and comfortable. It also looks good!

Used these when I lived in Japan, and after moving back to the states I was super bummed out to not have them here. These are the exact same as what I bought in person and work great, I will never use a different mask! The most comfortable and breathable I have worn.

These masks are pretty thin and don't pass the lighter test. I don't recommend wearing things in crowded areas. These are better for keeping it in your car or as backup.
