Precisely the context I was seeking. Easy to read and understand text. Well written, edited and illustrated. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking to gain an understanding of this programming software.

It is a bit dated now for the newest Studio 5000 versions, but I still learned a few things, e.g. on produced and consumed tags and on fault handling.

Highly recommend the book. I’ve worked in PLC’s for a few years and this really tied some things together. It’s great for anyone starting out, or if you just want more understanding. I will be reading more Gary Anderson books for sure!
