GIR: Get It Right Silicone Kitchen Spatula Turner - Non-Toxic Cooking Utensils for Nonstick Cookware, Cooking and Baking, Mini - 11IN - Red

Love GIR products! The first one I got was the skinny spatula, and I loved it. I have had it for almost five years and am just starting to see some wear on it, which I think it good for a silicone product and I use them A LOT. I had the opportunity to get the mini flip and it is right on par and is as expected! These things are super durable, don't stick, and are very heat-resistant. The material and feel are sleek but not slippery, and it feels really nice. They have great color options too; I got the "Slate" color, which is like a grayish blue. The mini flip is an interesting spatula size - don't be fooled by the "mini" in the name.. it is still a great size that can accomplish plenty of tasks. As mentioned, super durable and has a nice thickness to it without being overly thick or too thin. It also has a good amount of flexibility to it - sturdy enough without being rigid but not too bendy that it cant hold up under something heavier. I do not have to worry about melting, which is huge, and they are dishwasher safe. They are very easy to clean by hand, too. Really good quality.

For the longest time, I was stuck between using a small silicone spatula (it was gifted to me) and a large wooden spatula, because both of these were amazing in their own ways and I had a hard time finding anything close to good enough to replace either or both. The GIR Silicone Spatula Turner came close! So far, I have used it for all sort of stir-fry dishes and pan-frying. If the scooping part was better, I'd only use this spatula! Pro: - easy to clean - things don't stick on when in-use - ease of swiveling it around a pan (when stirring and trying to get underneath the dish, this spatula bends and curves so well!) due to the front/mouth part of the spatula is very flexible) - a good width (although for the large pan I use, I could go with a spatula with a wider mouth) - material seems very durable Con: - the width could be a bit wider for my use (my opinion) - in use, the handle had a heavier feel to it - not the best for scooping (other spatulas that have a but more of a curve (like a spoon) or have the edge on either side of the scoop stick out more were better at scooping things out of the pan

Trying to reduce micro plastics in my kitchen, so I replaced a plastic one with this silicone one. It's very sturdy and has held up over the last couple months very well

I ordered this spatula after reading about it on NYT’s Wirecutter. I have a couple silicon/plastic spatulas that I use on my non-stick cookwear but they did not age well and were tough to clean (think eggs crusting on the tip and needing to soak and use brute strength to remove cement like yolk). The old spatulas also had ridges where the parts were assembled that got gunned up and were almost impossible to get clean. Flash forward to this new GIR product and there is a world of difference - it’s one piece, completely non-stick (even egg yolk) and looks like new after daily use since purchased. It’s also colorful and attractive. I liked it so much I bought a complete set of GIR cooking utensils and am very pleased with those as well. The only drawback to this particular spatula was that it was smaller than I expected - it can flip eggs and small things but not good for regular size pancakes etc. But for a smaller pan (10inches or less) it fits well when a bigger spatula was unwieldy so highly recommend for those using smaller skillets on a daily basis.

I have tried a ton of different types of silicone spatula products over the years. This is not only sturdy with just enough flex to make it truly versatile nice sharp edge. Perfect size for flipping. I have both this size and the mini and I use them both a lot. The silicone texture is also not sticky compared to other brands I've had. This brand releases good nicely. Easy to clean. In my experience the white color doesn't stain, but I hand wash this as it's very to easy to do.

This silicone outer, apparently steel inner is exactly the perfect utensil for the job. The curvature of the tip exactly matches the curvature of a 10" pan, for perfect (a term I do not use lightly) effectiveness at scooping out cooked food. The handle is comfortable due to the silicone surface and also the three-dimensional shape of the grip. The silicone is soft and flexible enough to kind of also function as a spatula to get ingredient out of a mixing bowl and into the pan. Some of you may wish the business end of this utensil were stiffer, while others will appreciate the spatula-crossover effect. This company has a goofy, goofy name, but I have to admit: they got this spatula-turner right.

Just purchased to have a second one while using my favorite one that I’ve had for over 5 years! No stains after all these years! GIR tools are the best !

I would prefer a thinner blade but still a very good spatula
