Disney DCM-1 Classic Mickey Waffle Maker, Brushed Stainless Steel

Fantastic Christmas gift

We love this waffle maker, it’s been a great purchase and has even saved us money. We bring it with us to Disney because Mickey waffles are a must, and this lets us make them ourselves instead of paying the high prices at the parks or hotels. It’s small enough to not take up too much space in our bags, and quickly makes us waffles. It works well and makes it easy to enjoy them anytime/anywhere.

Given to a Disney fan for a gift. Works great and the waffle has a cute face! Would recommend.

I was glad to see this Mickey face waffle iron was back. I ordered it for my 4 year old grandson and year old granddaughter. I agree with the other reviewer the waffles are not crisp and are much more like a pancake and the same thickness as a pancake about 1/2 inch. If you look at the picture it is much thinner than a regular waffle. The kids liked them though and even my husband said they tasted pretty good. I used the recipe for buttermilk waffles on the inside of instruction booklet and it made about 10 waffles. I sprayed the iron before the first waffle and had no trouble with sticking. They came right out. I used a bit less than 1/2 cup batter per waffle and made sure all the spaces of the face were covered and area was filled almost to the top. The waffles came out perfectly after about 2 minutes of cooking. Nothing ran over to the outside of the form. The waffles come out with a clear impression of Mickeys face and the kids thought that was neat. Its a fun item to have though if you are wanting Belgian type waffles this is not going to do it. but if you want just a novelty item for the fun of it it will fill the bill. I paid $35 for mine on Amazon and would be hesitant to pay $75. It is a fairly sturdy appliance and easy to clean with a soapy wet dishcloth and than go over again with just a wet cloth and than dry. It's not huge so easy to store away. I am anxious to read others review of this item.

This makes an exceptional gift. On our multigenerational family trip to Walt Disney World, the entire family enjoyed Mickey Mouse waffles for breakfast. Upon returning home I ordered this waffle maker and gifted to my grandchildren as a memory of our trip. What a fun way to say thank you. The waffle maker is a quality appliance and easy to use.

Love the waffle maker, every waffle came out great, in case it helps, the magic number for me was 4 minutes. As I read on another post, it was worth every penny, especially when I saw the look of surprise on my granddaughters face. She said it reminded her of the hotels when we go to Disney World. The quality of the nonstick plates is great and clean up was a breeze.

My sons favourite breakfast is Mickey eggos, after finding out he has a diary allergy we bought this to try to get him to still eat breakfast (because when you are 2 waffles taste different when they are shaped differently lol) Works great! Super cute!

For the price I thought it would be more sturdy, better quality. Apart from that it makes amazing mickey waffles!!! Kids loved it! Always asking for them.
