What is the thread weight?? Cant understand why such a simple thing is not provided anywhere in the listing.

The Guterman site does not list weight. We have seen over 400 masks and various other projects. The thread is sturdy and has not snapped or created problems. The Joann website assumes most universal thread to be 40 weight.

I can't find a number on the thread and no longer have the shipping information but mine is also Gutermann, white, polyester and 1094 yards. It sounds like the same spool. I wish i could be more helpful. This thread is working out very well.

real white or nu white?

I went back and looked at the description of the thread (purchased Feb. 2022) and it says "White" (Gutermann CA02776 100% polyester COL20). When doing a search today for Gutermann CA20776, the description says "nu White". Didn't check if it's a different seller and honestly I don't have a "nu white" in my thread collection to compare it to. I can say it is not a bright white, especially when compared to Gutermann's CA02776 in 100% Cotton which is a much brighter white. The poly looks white until held next to the cotton--'then it has a grayer look.

Ich nutze Gütermann Nähgarn sehr gerne da die Qualität sehr gut ist, der Faden ist fast Fusselfrei und läuft in meiner Pfaff und meiner Janome einwandfrei. Der Faden ist gut verzwirnt, fest und stabil. Viele Farben und versch. Qualitäten sind auch Verfügbar da ist für jeden Zweck was dabei.
